Natasha Garbe Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist Owner
I care. It's that simple.
Natasha's Practice Theory
My practice is based on an integration of ancient Chinese Medical Massage (TuiNa), acupressure, and modern western massage techniques. With a wide breadth of techniques available, your massage will be a delightful combination of techniques. I am able to adjust to any preferences you may have- when you come in for your session, we will work out a plan together.
I went to East-West Healing Arts Institute and interned extensively with an acupuncturist focusing on pain relief and management. I have been in practice since 2010. After graduation, I began running East-West as the School Administrator and later returned as the Dean of Education. I believe in therapy backed by science and continue my personal studies.
My passion for people carries naturally into the work that I do. My previous work in the health care field included direct care of people with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, Alzheimer’s, and dementia; I have an utmost respect for diverse populations that manifests as a drive to help those around me. No one walking into my office is ever judged.
All are welcome here.
Why I Do What I Do
I love people. I want to help. And I believe in healing. Over the course of the past few years, I have watched how massage can be transformative. Pain changes people. Chronic pain is heartbreaking for the patient and the patient’s family and friends. I can’t promise that I will relieve your pain. But I can promise to try. I’ve watched the difference that the absence of pain can have. It’s beautiful. Whether it is a tight low back preventing sleep, chronic tension headaches, shoulder and neck pain, sciatica, or the pressures of a stressful situation- massage is a natural alternative or excellent companion to traditional pain relief. We will work together to design your massage session to focus on your needs.
[A special note to those nervous or recovering from touch trauma: please know that I will work with you, at your pace and comfort level. Massage is healthcare. You are always welcome to remain clothed or to have someone with you if it would help you]
Natasha as a Person I love what I do. I’m passionate about massage therapy. And I am filled with gratitude just writing that about my career! When I’m not practicing massage, I'm running my other business - Honeysuckle Creek Photography. I am taking pre-requisite courses in hopes of continuing on to Physician’s Assistant School in the future. I watch people’s gate patterns and analyze what muscles may be sore- for fun- everywhere from the mall to the zoo. Once a therapist, always a therapist! I LOVE words. I’m a writer at heart. Now that you know so much about me, please set up an appointment so that I can get to know you! I can’t wait to meet you! In health and happiness, Natasha Kae Fuller Garbe
